Hoy la BBC sacó una nota en la que agrega lo siguiente tras publicar las mismas cifras:
In both cases, the Pentagon says it has "low confidence" in the figures, due to gaps in information, operational security and deliberate attempts, probably by both sides, to mislead.

Quizás lo primero que tenemos que corregir para arriba es el número de KIA ucranianos.
Por otra parte, hoy no habló el secretario de defensa, pero sí lo hizo uno de sus asistentes en una conferencia de prensa donde lo bombardearon con preguntas sobre el caso, básicamente reconoció que la filtración es real:
(...) We're not going to get into the validity of the purported documents posted online, but a Pentagon team continues to review and assess the veracity of the photographed documents that are circulating on social media sites and that appear in some cases to contain sensitive and highly-classified material.
Cuando le preguntaron sobre el contenido de uno de los documentos que trata sobre la relación entre EAU y Rusia, respondió lo siguiente:(...) These photos appear to show documents similar in format to those used to provide daily updates to our senior leaders on Ukraine and Russia-related operations, as well as other intelligence updates. Some of these images appear to have been altered.
