Low on ammunition and taking heavy casualties as they stand in the open, the Highlanders are easy targets for the French marksmen only 20 yards away.
The Grenadier company is on the verge of colapse. With their last officer mortally wounded, they await the order to reload. Sergeant James Thompson attempts to keep the line steady and intact. Minutes later the small sickly British army were to be forced to make a hazardous withdrawl of over a mile to the city of Quebec.

Privates are shown, one wearing the regulation uniform and the other as he would have appeared on campaign. also shown is a flank company officer, as he would have appeared in the field.
Los Black Watch sirvieron durante la Guerra de Independencia en America del Norte. Los Soldados que aquí se muestran visten, uno el uniforme reglamentario y el otro tal como hubiera vestido en campaña. También se muestra a un Ofical de Flanco de Compañía como pudo aparecer en campaña.

Redoutable opens fire on Victory. Trafalgar, 1805 - Steve Noon.
At 11.45 am the flagship of the French fleet, Redoutable, opened fire on Victory. The yard was cut from Victory's topsail and cries of joy resounded in all Redoutable's batteries.
Victory continued it's course straight towards the French fleet.
A las 11.45 horas el Buque Insignia de la flota francesa, Redoutable, abrió fuego contra el Victory. El puente fue cortado por la gavia del Victory y gritos de alegría resonaron en todas las baterías del Redoutable.
El Victory continuó su curso en línea recta hacia la flota francesa.

The Confederate brigade of Brigadier General Rodes charged across the boggy clearing to the front of Casey's redoubt, held by a Union artillery battery and skirmishers. Initially, the attack faltered , but a second charge supported by reinforcements overran the Union position.

While pursuing Pancho Villa, Gen. Pershing received intelligence that he was at Carrizal in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Troops C and K of the 10th Cavalry were sent to investigate. Instead, the cavalrymen encountered Mexican Fedral troops under Gen. Felix Gomez. Negotiations failed and the 80 cavalrymen prepared to attack the Mexicans, who had an estimated strength of between 400 and 500.
Mientras perseguía a Pancho Villa, el General Pershing recibió información de que estaba en Carrizal, en el estado mexicano de Chihuahua. As the line drew close to a dried irrigation ditch, they came under heavy machine gun and rifle fire. Although bullets were impacting all around, the cavalrymen returned accurate fire. By now wounded, Captain Boyd stood to lead his men forward from the irrigation ditch, but was instantly killed. Lieutenant Adair took command and carried C Troop forward, storming the town.
