Belyaev EOI, Soviet experimental pre-war fighter-bomber. Aircraft was not finished before the war. First prototype was 90% ready by July 1941, but the project was cancelled. No pictures remained, all technical documentation was destroyed before evacuation in 1941. Also was built wooden mockup of PBI, dive-bomber based on EOI.

The XF-108 was designed as a high speed interceptor to defend the U.S. against Soviet bombers. North American also envisioned the XF-108 as an escort fighter for the XB-70. The 108 was a gorgeous design that never got beyond a single wood mock-up.

the Focke Wulf P.VII Flitzer would be a tremendous asset for the Luftwaffe for intercepting the bomber streams and Fighters of the Allies and with given priority the first fighters would be appear on the battlefield in apr 1944
